I'm having trouble finding airlines that fly directly from Amsterdam to Brussels, or any airports in Belgium for that matter. The only airline that seems to fly this route direct is KLM, which will cost around A$450 for a one-way flight in July!
The train is also an option, but it would be easier to fly all the way through to Belgium from Australia in one go.
Thanks for your help.

Hey look at Ryanair or Brussels airlines. Those are the most famous airlines in Belgium. Although I find it funny you want to fly from Amsterdam to Belgium because it will take you maybe 5 minutes with a plane. So guess that´s why you don´t find any flights ;). I suggest you take the train. Depending on where you want to go in Belgium. Trains go directly from Holland to Antwerp and Brussels.
For trains look at www.nmbs.be (Belgium railways) or look up HST or TGV on google and you will find something.

hope it helped you out a bit. Let me know from where in Holland to where in Belgium you have to travel. Than I can give you more info.

Yeah it is really close so nobody would bother flying.

Trains are super easy to catch between the 2 cities as people travel that route all the time.

From memory it takes about 2 hours or a bit less to go by train. There are probably different types, i.e. ones that stop at every stop and ones that only stop at a couple over 6 years ago
