    Average temps in June are 17 degrees C, although sunny days can get to 21C. The locals always carry an umbrella in June because morning rain can give way to a sunny afternoon.
    I've been to Amsterdam a few times, and had both airconditioned (modern hotel) and un-airconditioned accommodation (cheap backpackers). Some of the older buildings are designed to keep heat IN because of the cold winters, but as long as you can open a window I don't think a/c is a necessity. over 9 years ago
