    Visit the marina area and dine in a nice restaurant. Take a sailing trip out into the bay on a yacht.

    You can abseil down that tower if you want & are an adreniline junkie but I didn't. about 5 years ago

    Catch a ferry to Waiheke Island, nice vineyards, good food and good day or overnight trip. Cycling around the island. almost 6 years ago

    Get a car and drive north and hit all the beaches,
    Eat food drink beer and relax like the locals on Ponsonby Road. maybe mount Eden? Watch a cricket game in Victora Park? almost 5 years ago

    Waiheke for suuuure. I spend 3 weeks on that island and would have been happy never to leave. Try the wine.
    The black sand beaches of Piha Beach - 40 km outside of Auckland. Make sure you being decent footwear to shield your feet from the blazing heat the sand will absorb from the sun! over 4 years ago

    Nothing. Go north, to he northland to the beaches and small towns, or go directly east (by driving southeast) to see the coromandel! over 4 years ago
