Hello, we are planing to travel to Muscat for only 2 1/2 days in November. Is there any safety problem right now? Which places are needed to see? Is it safe to rent a car and make a trip to the mountains? We are traveling with our 4year old daughter....

    Oman is generally safe, and there are no particular issues at present.

    Yes! We are 4th safest in the world for solo travellers apparently. I've never had a problem and I drive everywhere in my 4x4. Friendly, helpful people. 6 months ago
