I have always been fascinated by older buildings and monuments and I hear that Lahore is good for these. I was also raised a Sikh so have a particular interest in related buildings and temples. Is there anything in particular that should not be missed?

    There are many old buildings and monuments in Lahore worth seeing to mention Lahore fort, Shalimar gardens, Badshah Mosque and near by the biggest Gurdwara where Shikhs every year visit over 6 years ago

    Lahore is Lahore. There is nothing like Lahore. There is history as Javaid mentioned. There are lovely people.Worth seeing places.Anaarkali Baazar After the name of anarkali, beloved of Jahangir Emperor (son of Akbar the Great). Jahangir Emperor's tomb, his wifes tomb are on the bank of river Ravi. Rajit singh's memorial. Jain mandar,
    Gurdwara Nankana Sahib at the distance of about 50kms from lahore. Darbar Sahib kartar pur at the drive of about 2hrs from Lahore and Gurdwara Panja Sahib at 5hrs journey from lahore . So for sikhs there are plenty of places worth visiting. over 5 years ago
