I'll be catching my flight from Sydney and first I'll be passing through New Zealand and Chile until I finally pass through Lima and arrive at my final destination in Iquitos Peru. If I'm in transit, do I have to pay entry fees even though I'm not staying in those other countries that I pass through? As well as this, do I have to collect and check-in my luggage at every country that I pass through? I'll be flying with LAN airlines the entire way as well

I think you will be ok with the fees, if you have connecting flights and for your baggage you will need to call your airline to find out. over 2 years ago

No, when booking a direct flight on the same airline, they will transfer the luggage for you. You will not have to pay fees to each port of entry - they have you go through a transit lounge. When you arrive in Lima, you will probably go through immigration and customs there and then continue on via a local flight. A lot of these questions should be directed to the airline you are flying on, give them a call, that's what they are there for! 5 months ago
