I don't want to transit through any American airports. I also need Premium Economy seating on the long haul flight - have done too many long hauls in economy class, but can't afford Business class. When I went to S America last time, I went via Spain, but this time I will be turning the order around. Any ideas will be gratefully received.
Thank you.

Qantas now flies directly to Argentina and its a short flight to Lima (Peru) from there. Also have a look at LAN.com, they have flights from Australia to Chile and again, its a short hop to Peru from there. You may need to stop in NZ on the way about 6 years ago

LAN airlines flies direct from Sydney to Santiago, Chile and offers premium economy, and it's a short flight from there to Peru. Lan is aligned with Qantas so you can book via qantas.com. I have flown with LAN before to South America and it a thousand times better than Aerolineas. over 5 years ago
