October weather in San Juan

It depends on were you heading off to. The topography of the Island presents a wide range of weather conditions from dry to extreme wet. Seasons do affect local weather patterns as well. October can be hot and humid with little or no wind. Go to Culebra Island offshore towards the East of PR, Vieques also. Rincon, Cabo Rojo on the West coast, A day trip to the Caribbean National Forest, El Yunque would also be fun, take the trail to mount Britton towards the communication towers, the view is great, watch the wind and slippery rock surfaces. over 5 years ago

Puerto Rico is near the equator, so the temp never really changes that much throughout the year. But when I went to San Juan in early November, it rained A LOT. I can't really say that it was because of the time of year or if I just had bed luck on my trip... over 3 years ago
