You could always go for a swim in the pool at Changi Airport or maybe they operate trips to the Night Zoo from the airport if you wanted to do something active. Central Singapore at night is very beautiful so maybe you could look into getting a taxi there, wandering around & having a nice meal on or around Clarke Quay for example/attending a concert at the Esplanade/visiting Raffles or nearby Chinatown. Don't know anything about any hotels at the airport, sorry. almost 7 years ago

Since it will be at night, thus I suggest to check out Clarke Quay. It's by the Singapore River with many restaurants, pubs and shops. Also, it's very near the Orchard Road (downtown / shopping area), 5 minutes by taxi or 20 minutes walk. There are few transit hotels nearby such as Hotel 81, Fragrance Hotel & etc. You can book by 2 or 3 or 4 hours, no need to pay for the whole night since you will be leaving for the airport very early. Have fun in Singapore. almost 7 years ago

Please consult this link regarding the facilities at Changi Airport that can fill in the hours on a long stopover.

Remember to get back in time for your flight. These long stop-overs can pass quicker than you think. almost 7 years ago

Marina Bay Sands for a dinner and a cocktail - then back to the airport.

Sleeping at the airport is difficult, its bright and the seats are not that comfortable - but you can have a shower, a massage and a good read.

Wifi is also available, so surfing the net for a few hours. almost 7 years ago
