Best way to get from Durban to Pietermaritzburg?

I wonder if anyone knows what the transport options are for travelling between Pietermaritzburg and Durban airport?

  The best way to get to Durban from pmb would be by car , the journey should take about 45 minutes and is about 90km of freeway. There is also a bus service but I would advise to to travel by car over 6 years ago
