Need to have since going up to Zambia and back to ZA. $US 150 to get before I leave. Surely must be cheaper to get in South Africa?

ZAR650 (approx. $65 USD) for foreigners and you can get the vaccination at OR Tambo Johannesburg Airport at the airport clinic. You will need to make sure that you have the vaccination for more than 10 days before re-entering South Africa otherwise they will refuse you entry into the country.......I found out the hard way! about 4 years ago

If you don't want to get it at the airport, then try the Travel Doctor:

    Also considerably cheaper.
But you need to make an appointment. about 4 years ago
