We will be in Cape Town in late June staying on Upper Union Street, Tamboerskloof . We would love to be able to walk one night in the neighborhood for a good meal, and use other transportation to get around for two other meals.
Thanks for taking the time to get back to me! Can you recommend any galleries that we might visit while in Cape Town? or any other sites that you would say not to miss? over 7 years agoAnswered by judith harris via Travellr.com
I found the quintessential restaurant in Cape Town- Savoy Cabbage
AMAZING FOOD at a reasonable rate. over 6 years agoAnswered by judith harris via Travellr.com
There are loads of good restaurants in Cape Town at reasonable prices, suggestions above are all good. Millers Thumb is good basic fish restaurant - for reviews on more good restaurants see: http://www.wordtravels.com/Cities/South+Africa/Cape+Town/Restaurants. Note that the restaurants in Camps Bay - like Paranga - and other touristy places like the waterfront are not as good value, or good, as the ones locals eat at, in the City Bowl for example. about 6 years ago
