Hi! Me and my boyfriend are planning a trip in February, and I want to go somewhere hot. We live in Canada and neither of us have been anywhere. We would like to go somewhere that has lots of hiking places and awesome scenery to see. We are not into touristy things and more into hiking mountains, seeing waterfalls, interacting with locals. Stuff like that. Been thinking South America, or Thailand.. Can anybody suggest places and places to stay? And maybe what I should do for the two weeks.
Thanks in advance!
Hi - I've just been back from Argentina and totally agree with localcarol - amazing country with lots of hiking around patagonia and mendoza was my favourite as well.
If you are considering coming as far as SE Asia - go to NZ or Australia for amazing scenery and hiking! February for NZ is great. Aust might be a bit warmer but go prepared. NSW (around Sydney has amazing national parks! And then you have the rest of the country to discover - around margaret river etc...) Thailand - I did a 3 day hike in Chiang Mai which was really cool - met amazing international travellers, and super locals. almost 3 years agoAnswered by RT Rain via WorldNomads.com
