I'm female, travelling alone for 2 months, looking for a good small group tour.

Would like to cover - Equador, Bolivia, Peru, Brazil, Machu Pichu, Inca Trail

Thanks :)

Hi Kim, I recently went on a tour in Peru with a company called Intrepid: http://www.intrepidtravel.com/

they were fantastic! Small group - we only had 8 people and a good combination of private and public transport. Also, Intrepid treats its porters for the Inca Trail very well (better than other companies we heard).

They have a range of trips with different destinations and accomodation grades. I went on the "original" style and was very happy with what was offered. almost 6 years ago

    • I was just about to write the same thing. I have always had great experiences with Intrepid. I can not recommend them more highly. Alex Siegers almost 6 years ago

I'd have to recommend http://www.gapadventures.com - I went with them to the Ecuadorian Amazon last year and had a fantastic time. almost 6 years ago

I used Grayline tours twice in Ecuador and was very pleased with them. I used them for a city tour of Quito and an overland trip to Otavalo, Rio Bamba and a bunch of other places.

I also used Tambotours for Peru and was very happy with them. This was the only time I ever used a pre-arranged package tour because it isn't really my style but they did an excellent job. http://www.tambotours.com/2006site/ almost 6 years ago
