I have heard San Sebastian is very strict on parking rules because of how popular it is in the summer. Are there places where I can park for free?

Parking in San Sebastian is really strict. The only place you can park for free (to my knowledge) is off Avenida de tolosa. You'll need to pay around 1.25EUR to take a bus into proper city centre, but it's worth it when all day parking in San Sebastian can run you 15-20EUR a day. almost 7 years ago

    Yeah that is true.

You best bet is Avenida de Tolosa and park near the University buildings there, then catch a number 5 or 25 bus toward the city centre.

You should be looking to get off at Okendo station and that is pretty much where you want to be for walking distance to most hostels in San Sebastian. over 6 years ago
