    Yes, You need a car. there are many places to see. I'll be there from 22 to 26 for my 4 time. over 6 years ago

    I would definitely suggest hiring a car as this is the easiest way to see the whole of the island which has some really stunning parts to it.

    I really liked Fornells which has some lovely places to eat down on the harbour.

    Things to visit or see would definitely be the big stone structures called taulas which are dotted all over the island, with the tallest being near Mao (Mahon). There are some ancient settlements well worth seeing such as Torre den Gaumes.

    I really liked wandering around the Cuitadella which is very historic and has a wonderful cathedral. Mahon is the capital and is worth a visit and if its still there, down on the harbour, was a gin factory where you could see it made, have a few samples and then buy some if you were interested.

    I personally was not see keen on Cala n Bosc - it was very full of Brits abroad...! over 6 years ago
