Stockholm Archipelago is fantastic all year round and during winter it's no risk that it is crowded. Sandhamn is awesome but a bit expensive http://www.sandhamns-vardshus.se/www/index.php?id=14 http://www.sandhamn.com/ . Check out with the ferry company which lines that goes out to the archipelago during winter: http://www.waxholmsbolaget.se/ Here you will find more tips on stuff to do around Stockholm and in the archipelago: http://www.visitstockholm.com/en/To-Do/Excursions/ . Remember to bring warm clothes where ever you go in Sweden in March and if you go out into the archipelago be aware that you could get stuck for a day or so because of ice or harsh weather. And be very careful if you want to walk on the ice if there is any. Check with locals first. Hope you have a great time. over 6 years ago
Heyyy! I recently took a trip with my family (Mom, Dad and Brother) to Sweden and YOU must, must, must stay in Wengen! Check out the Jungfraujoch euro railway site and perhaps my album for photos? Its gorgeous even when it's not peak skiing season. Such an authentic experience, and there is just so much to do and photograph and so much culture to experience!!!
If you look on my personal page you can find some photos :) almost 6 years ago
