Good advice by johnyquest. And you can see both nightmarkets at a time, they are very close to each other (about 10 minutes by taxi).
If you want something more unique and less-touristy, there is also a cool night market in Rachada, Friday & Saturday, Saturday is the best day to go. It's really a night market for Thai's not for foreigners, you'll see lots of "cool" stuff, fashion, second hand clothing & home decor stuff, lots of vintage. over 6 years ago

Looks like the inevitable end to Suan Lum is approaching. There have been soon confrontations with the vendors and people hired by the property owners.

If you want to visit, visit soon. over 6 years ago

They are going down. Compared to the past, it has gone down.

The property owner has been extremely patient. over 6 years ago

    Re; johnyquest

Isn't visiting Patpong for the market, a bit like buying Playboy for the articles?

Suan Lum night Bazaar near Lumpini Park for shopping. It has entertainment, beer and food in the outdoor market next to the sheds and sheds of shops. My favourite to take people when they come into town. Just be careful that the taxi puts their meter on when you are leaving. about 6 years ago
