
Where is the best place to stay on the Turkish west Mediterranean coast?

I think it called Olympus?? check your guide. It's in the south western corner. You can stay in treehouses right on the coast. Its pretty nice. It's on most peoples itinerary so you won't miss it once you are there. about 9 years ago

It depends what you are looking for to be honest.
Olympos is nice - tree houses and a chilled atmosphere, but it is quite popular and can be busy during the summer.
I like Kas as a base - you can travel into the Taurus Mountains, visit historical sites such as Letoon and Xanthos and do a great boat trip to the sunken city - Simena. Kas has a mix of hotels and guest houses, some nice restaurants and a couple of good bars. Its on the main bus route so its easy, comparatively, to get to and from. The bus from Istanbul takes about 15 hours.
If you want action and wall-to-wall British life then main town Fethiye is your place! All you can eat english breakfast and beer!! about 9 years ago
