    Ali Muhiddin's shop in Eminönü was the source of the original turkish delight. It's on Hamidiye Caddesi at the corner of Seyhülislam Hayri Efendi Caddesi, two blocks east of the Yeni Cami (New Mosque).

    Definitely taste what you are buying. They should snip off bits with big scissors and let you try. over 11 years ago

    I think everyone's answer depends on personal taste but the best are Ali Muhiddin, Cemilzade and Hacıbekir. I would prefer Cemilzade for most of the flavors. about 9 years ago

    The best shop is definitely Birim Çerez in Taksim; Talimhane. The staff told me that they produce their own Turkish Delight. The shop's prices are also very good for value. about 9 years ago

    There was a shop in Taksim; hotels discrict in Aydede Caddesi.
    The shop's name is Birim Çerez. There was a huge variety of dried nuts, and fruits. There was also delicious Turkish Delight.
