    That depends on where you are staying. But for the most parts, you will need some sort of transportation. almost 5 years ago

    Taxis in Dubai are so cheap if you do find the walk too far.. So I wouldn't worry about hiring a vehicle. almost 5 years ago

    In a nutshell, no. However, we found that we could walk around districts to go exploring and visit sites i.e. around the Gold Souk, then took a boat across the river and walked to the Dubai Museum (Al Fahidi Fort). Taxis are also cheap and there's a new Metro system, although we didn't use it. I even saw some double decker hop-on, hop-off tourist buses which could be a great way to get between the sites. almost 5 years ago
