Anyone know of a good mid range (not looking for anything fancy) Italian restaurant in the middle of London? I would preffer to avoid the touristy places

Locanda Locatelli on Seymour St. or Sardo on Grafton Way.. as far as avoiding the tourist spots Sardo is probably your best bet but it is London so you can't go that far without bumping into a few tourists.

Agree with both InsiderPerks suggestions. Both are great restaurants. The only other one I would suggest is The River Cafe, but this is out near Hammersmith/Fulham Palace Road so probably wont tick the "middle of London" box. over 7 years ago

La Spezia at London Bridge, right at the turning onto the road into the station used to be good. There was another on Lambs Conduit Street in Holborn but the name slips my memory at the moment. over 7 years ago

Luna Rossa in Notting Hill... they're at 192 Kensington Park Road.
