Where is the best place to snorkel in Maui? Should we have a tour group?

  There are great catamarans off of Kaanapali! It is right near the shopping and ding center called Whalers Village. Been there 8 times and each snorkeling and sunset ride on the catamaran was beautiful! The staff was great and made it a lot of fun. Hope this helps! 3 months ago

  If you have snorkel equipment (or buy it for 20$ at walmart) and have a car there are plenty of great places without a group. Honolua Bay on the Westside or Makena Landing/Turtle Town on the South Side are just two quick examples. 3 months ago
