NYC-Where to stay?
We are planning a trip to NYC for about three days in the last week of October, but we don't know whats the best area to stay in? We will be doing all the touristy things and then some,we want to be in a safe area. And we're students,so we're budget conscious
Any suggestions?
Also,is an airbnb a better option than a hotel?

I'm a huge fan of the Lower East Side, it's full of great bars, restaurants and major subway lines. Plus if you want to head over to Brooklyn, you can walk across the Williamsburg Bridge and be there in about 45 minutes. (Super easy walk.) I recommend checking out AirBnb for a budget friendly accommodation. My husband and I always go that route because there are fewer hotels in the LES. AirBnb will be cheaper and will open up your options to neighborhoods that don't have many hotels. Chelsea is another great area of the city to stay in but I'm honestly not as familiar with it. about 1 year ago
