    You really can't lose with either one. Personal preference would be Olympic National Park though. over 7 years ago

    Olympic National Park for sure. Much more to see there, prettier drive, views of seastacks in the ocean and quaint towns (Port Townsend is my favorite). Definitely go up to Hurricane ridge if the weather is nice. You drive up for 15 miles or so, but the view of the Olympic Mountains is amazing. Make sure that the view isn't fogged out at the bottom of the hill where you enter the park.

    Columbia Gorge is very striking, but it is more of a "pull off to the side of the road" kind of attraction. There isn't much in the way of towns, except for farming, retirement and vacation communities. over 6 years ago

    it depends what time of year. For the Gorge I'd much rather take a river cruise there, it is quite pretty. But I think I'd chose ONP over the gorge. almost 4 years ago
