I've heard that the price of Navajo tour is very expensive. I'm thinkin to go inside Monument Valley by my car.

    You can cover most of monument valley by car. Be sure and get a Navajo map at AAA. Try to enter before sunrise from either end of the valley. Visitor Center is about mid valley. over 6 years ago

    Going with a Navajo guide added a lot, in our opinion. Made it more than just a drive-by. He told us the Navajo names for various formations, what significance they had, legends and lore, etc. It's a way for them to make money and after all, they were here first! about 5 years ago
