It depends on what type of camping and activities you enjoy. Florida has a lot of great state parks. Nyanja and Hillsborough River are 2of my favorites because of the kayaking. There are also many wonderful parks in the coastal areas. about 5 years ago

If you make it down to the Keys there are a few great state parks with beautiful sites right on the water. Long Key is pretty quiet and one of my favorites. Bahia Honda is a little more popular and will have more activity opportunities.

Towards the north, Anastasia Island and Fort Clinch state parks both offer low key camping with easy and peaceful beach access. about 5 years ago

Believe it or not, Disney has great camping! Lots of woods, trails, wildlife. Canoe rentals, bike rentals, playgrounds, pools, shuttle busses. And a campfire sing a long every night. And an outdoor movie at night unless it rains. And a petting zoo. And horseback riding for extra $. about 5 years ago
