  • Not only can you cycle across, but if you go into Sausalito you have the choice to ride back or take the ferry. Joe Mazzetti about 9 years ago

    Of course - usually you are on the west side of the bridge and pedestrians are on the left side about 9 years ago

    Currently there is maintenance/painting work going on, so pedestrians and bikes have to use the eastern side. This just means it is more congested and you have to ride slowly. about 9 years ago

    the previous commenter is not correct...construction work has moved from west sidewalk to east sidewalk. now cyclists are on the west sidewalk every day and the east sidewalk is for pedestrians. note: construction on the east sidewalk prevents visitors from walking from one end to the other...they can walk only as far as the construction area. about 9 years ago
