In Venezuela, If I buy bolivars in the black market can I exchange those bolivars back to dolars through the legal channel at the airport?
Im just wondering if I have left over bolivars after my trip what do I do with them
I would suggest planning your money well so that you don't have much left! You can change Bolivars to USD in banks I believe but you have to prove that you bought them legally.

As far as the black market is concerned, ask your hostel to recommend someone. We got 1-7 from one guy and 1-9 from another. It pays to know what you should get before you buy them almost 4 years ago
The current black market rate is 64 bolivares to the dollar. Don't use a credit card or ATM. They'll only give you 6.3 for your dollar. The government is introducing a tourist rate of 11 point something. Still not worth it. However they may try and crack down on the black market. As of 30/12/13 there was no problem. You can check the unofficial rate on dolartoday.com outside the country. In Venezuela the site is blocked. Use Twitter @DolarToday. almost 4 years ago

My husband is looking for bundles of mint condition Bolivares notes. If you are able to send them to him he will offer you twice the value of dolartoday.com for 100Bs. or more for smaller denominations.
These notes have to be mint condition. No folds, tears, unevenness of paper, stains etc. It is as if you got the notes from the Reserve Bank. This you can actually do in Central Caracas before you leave the country.
Don't worry about the people checking you at the airport. They are looking for gold and other PM.
